King & Queen of the Vegie Patch

Something that I am very proud to sponsor is the unique King & Queen of the Vegie Patch Competition.
This is a photo entry competition for babies (up to 18months old), who have been photographed with a vegie patch theme (love it!!). Think baby holding some vegies or even popping bub into your very own vegie garden.
We know growing your own food is a great learning step for nutrition & understanding food miles for kids (which in turn helps us understand so many important enviromental issues), so its got points already. I love that the competition isn’t for the best photography, or even a beauty contest, but for a bub in a vegie patch scene.
The prizes are eco fantastic, with eco peko supplying bamboodies, organic tee’s and happy daks for the King and Queen, as well as prizes from Agoo, Bowtique, Love Bytes (we are talking an amazing photography shoot of the winning bubs…I love this girls work, its colour saturated and really unique..this will be worth winning alone..the picture above is an example of her work), Modern Cloth Nappies from Bonnibuns , Lil Rockers, About a Boy & La Toriana
There is also prizes for the 6 runner up boys and 6 runner up girls (there are only 6 entries so far!!!) Of which all the sponsors are popping something in (we are adding a super big organic bib, valued at $22.95 to each runner up, so even the runner up prizes will be good)

Its very exciting news, eco peko has been nominated for best “Eco Friendly Product / Label of the Year”…yay!
To win, we need to get as many votes as possible so I am asking for your help. If you can click on the button (above) and vote for us, not only will I be very grateful (very), but you can win prizes from a $10, 000 prize pool. There’s some beautiful stuff to be won.
This award would be an honor for me and would reflect well at the upcoming trade shows, that eco peko is being shown at. Including Scandinavia, Japan, N.Z and Australia, the title of Eco Friendly Product / Label of the year, would help eco peko stand out from the rest.

Junior Upmarket

This Sunday the 27th, will see another Perth Upmarket grace our shores (well… heritage listed uni).
This one proves to be bigger and better, with the inclusion of the Junior Upmarket, more lovely gourmet food & loads more retailers (there is even a whisper that there may be a wine bar thingy…how civilized).
The timing is absolutely perfect, as our new range arrives this week.
Comprising of organic denim jeans, bamboodie (it’s a trans-seasonal bamboo hoodie), organic happy daks, organic cotton super big bib and our ever popular organic teeshirts, with a cute eco bag.
To celebrate the new release, eco peko is giving away a ‘baby eco pack’.
