eco peko at Kids inStyle
23 February, 2010
This Thursday the 25th to Sunday the 28th of Feb, we will be exhibiting at the very exclusive Kids inStyle.
Kids instyle is part of Life inStyle and is the premier trade event for kids and babies fashion and accessories in its region. The freshest and most exciting brands are being launched and positioned into the kids market at this industry acclaimed event.
eco peko will be showing our range of organic clothing, including our organic denim jeans, transeasonal bamboo hoodie, organic cotton happy daks and super long, organic cotton bibs. Our stand will be a display of indoor/outdoor eco delight, with recycled cardboard cubbies and house stands all atop our ‘green’ grass.
I’d like to thank The Arts and Cultural Dept. for the Research and Development grant that they awarded eco peko, to help attend Kids inStyle (thankyou, thankyou, thankyou xoxoxo)
Look out for us on stand k101, Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park, Sydney
Kids inStyle
10 August, 2009
Its taken just over a week to recover from what seems like the longest trade show in the world (5 days!!!).
Kids inStyle, is a part of Life inStyle and is very impressive indeed. This year it was held in The Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, Melbourne and there were over 500 exhibitors.
We were tucked in the far back corner and had built a cardboard house, which was a first for the show. It took us two days and a lot of sweat and tears (mine), but it finally came together (and again…was very impressive indeed) We were voted one of the top 20 best in show by Kids Style File …yay!

The cardboard Cubby
Luckly we were situated next to some very cool ‘tradies’ indeed. To our left were the Boofheads girls. They create posh shampoo for kids, and though its not organic is SLS and sulphate free and the perfume (notes of patcholi..which I love) is devine. My daughter (who hated having her hair washed) now has the shiniest hair on the street. I can’t recommend it enough.
Next to them were the very lovely Paris and Louise from Jetti Spaghetti who have created chop sticks for kids, and my 4 year old and 2 year old, love them (and can use them!).
On our right was Gillian from Danish by Design, who had a rug, that was actually a dolls house (its amazing!).
The team consisted of Mim (thank you dear sister) and great friends James and Dean, who helped put the whole thing together.
Thanks everyone, see you in Sydney for next years show!
